Major Responsibilities
‘Manager, Fundraising’ will be responsible for managing and delivering WildTeam's fundraising activities. This position holder will be responsible for sourcing grant income, developing enterprise solutions and corporate partnerships, and organising fundraising events.
Fundraising
- Developing strategies and setting goals to hit fundraising targets.
- Researching and approaching different donor agencies that could potentially make conservation related grants to WildTeam.
- Writing and presenting project proposals.
- Managing the grant application process and ensuring that grants received are tracked, and reported upon and in line with donors' expectations.
- Identifying enterprise solutions to introduce earned income.
- Developing relationships with corporate and other major donors, identifying new potential major donors and nurturing relationships.
Management and financial tasks:
- Preparing annual income and expenditure fundraising budgets for approval.
- Recording, monitoring and reporting financial progress.
- Administrative duties: updating databases, preparing reports, monitoring income and expenditure.
Communication, Marketing and PR tasks:
- Developing communication and marketing strategy for WildTeam.
- Developing and implementing different kinds of promotional materials and managing WildTeam website.
- Managing the communication team and responsible for executing team annual work plan.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 6 to 10 years’ experience directly working in fundraising or similar types of roles. A proven track record in raising grant funds including from large institutional donors and large/medium trusts and foundations.
- At least a bachelor degree from business administration, conservation management, natural resources and environmental sciences/studies, development studies, biological science, social science, anthropology or something similar. Masters preferred.
- Experience in community based projects in wildlife conservation sector will be beneficial.
- Working experience with community based organisation and community behaviour change initiatives.
- Developing department's goal, work plan and tracking/reporting on activities.
- Highly skilled in writing project proposal and managing grant application process.
- Able to take decision in complex situation while ensuring compliant work flow of the respective department.
- In addition, for this position WildTeam is looking for the following: The person should have excellent documentation (Bangla and English), project management, budget management, problem solving, and decision making skill.
